We’re not ready to retire yet but when we do…

Jim and I are counting down the days until Labor Day Weekend. I know that I have talked about it before, but we are honored and actually pretty happy, to be carrying the Bourbeuse Valley Chapter flag in the 110th Harley Davidson anniversary parade in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

The Bourbeuse Valley Chapter always has something going on, in fact, this coming weekend from the 26th to the 28th; the gang will be getting together for the St. Joe Missouri Ride. The ride starts out with a visit to St. Joe Harley-Davidson followed by a scenic ride to the town of Weston MO.

After a tour and a bite for lunch, the chapter will head over to the Holiday Inn. Jim and I have been to St. Joe and Weston before and have enjoyed the museums, shopping and bike routes. Oh, and the food is pretty good as well!

On Thursday the 25th, there will be a bike night at Hick BBQ in Cuba, MO. Jim and I have to work, but it would sure be nice to see the bike show, indulge in some drink specials, and maybe even win the 50/50 drawing.

When Jim and I retire we will not only be participating in more Bourbeuse Valley Chapter events, but we will also have time to take our Road King on more, “Travels with Harley.” If you have been following our blog, you know that it is our intention to do a two to three month road trip where we ride, eat, sleep, shop, and enjoy. Jim and I will be sharing our adventures on camera in, “Travels with Harley.”

Actually, you will be able to catch a glimpse of what our travels will be like when you come with us and celebrate the 110th Harley Davidson anniversary weekend in Milwaukee. Jim and I plan to take lots of pictures and will be filming everything we can, especially the parade!
